If you have never piloted a drone do not worry because with the Tello app this will be easy not only for adults but for children to. Even if you are really new to drones you can just pull out your mobile phone and fly with the intuitive control system. With EZ shots you can fly in three specific patterns whilst you are recording, you can fly in a 360 circle and up and away and this is all in a smooth motion because of the Intel processor and electronic image stabilisation and a bonus of being able to share on social media directly from you smart phone. No doesn’t that sound great.

Smartphone VR Headset Compatibility

If you are feeling adventurous then you can make it happen with the Tello in live stream video mode with compatible virtual reality VR headsets so that you can fly in breath taking first person view. Now I am really excited.

Is the Tello Safe to fly Indoors?

Tello is really safe with its software and hardware protections. You can take off with a single tap and it will land automatically. The vision positioning system facilitates precise hovering and when the battery gets low the alerts will go off and not only that if you lose connection, the Tello can still land safely due it its fail-safe protection.

What is the Flight Time?

The flight time is 13 minutes with its high capacity battery offers and impressively long flight time. This is one of the longest flights times in the mini drone category. Lots of fun time here.

Programmable

Another of the really good things about the Tello is that you can learn the basics of programming whilst you are having fun. By using Scratch, MIT developed coding system, makes it easy for you to be able to program your very own flight patterns and if you are more advanced you can use the Tello SDK to develop software applications.
